My Immunoglobulin Replacement Therapy (IgRT) Preferences Assessment Tool
A tool to help you rank your preferences regarding features of immunoglobulin replacement therapy (IgRT) for the treatment of primary and secondary immunodeficiency.
Helping you understand your immunoglobulin replacement therapy (IgRT) preferences and discuss them with your doctor
Replacing part of the immune system is one way that PID and SID are treated. Immunodeficiency may affect how antibodies are made, so antibodies (also called immunoglobulin) from the blood of people with a typical immune system might be used to help reduce the risk of infection. This is called immunoglobulin replacement therapy, or IgRT.
This interactive tool is designed to help you think about your preferences so that you and your doctor can discuss IgRTs that may meet your individual needs. Depending on your preferences, some treatments, including options other than IgRT, may be a better fit for you than others. However, it is possible that none of the available treatments can give you all the features that you prefer. If this is the case, you and your doctor can discuss which treatment may be the best fit for you.
To learn more about treatment options for PID and SID, including treatment options other than IgRT, please refer to Treatment Overview.
Please discuss any other questions, concerns, or considerations with your doctor.
